Western Seas is a palatine barony.  Unlike most other baronies in the Knowne World, our members compete to win the honor of crowning their consort Baron or Baroness. Competitions alternate between a fighting tournament in August or September and an arts and sciences competition in February. Each pair shares a six month reign.
